What we collect
When you sign up, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and region. We do not collect your date of birth or any other sensitive personal information. Signing in itself may also give us basic profile info from the provider you choose (Google, Apple, or your phone number via SMS verification).
How we use it
- Name, phone, email: to identify your account and, once purchasing is live, to send purchase confirmations.
- Region: to show you the right currency and price for your area.
- Email (only if you opt in at sign-up): occasional news about new titles and deals. You can opt out at any time.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information to third parties. We don't use your data to build advertising profiles.
Children's privacy
This app is intended for account holders 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Our Children's Books shelf is meant to be read under a parent or guardian's account.
Data storage
Your account data is stored with Firebase (Google Cloud). Reading progress and purchases (once live) are tied to your account so they follow you across devices.
